We are now preparing to sell for Spring/Summer 2010 and I can’t wait to see what my brands have to offer. It is another important selling season due to the economic conditions but I am confident that Peekaboo will be offering great product at competitive prices and that’s basically what everyone is looking for! Stayed tuned for a review of the collections as soon as I see them…

This is my first blog entry so bare with me! So it’s the end of selling season for Autumn/Winter 2009 and I have to say it went better than I expected. Buyers were definitely more cautious but once you have the right product at the right price they will still buy. I found that my longer established brands did better than my newer brands. A common complaint was having to buy in pack sizes. It seems buyers have had enough of being told they have to buy 9, 12 or 24 of one style. Smaller boutiques just can’t shift that volume and part of it inevitably ends in the sale. Luckily none of my brands operate like that so I’m all good!
